Jennifer Letivetz (She/her)
Jen Lekivetz is a Registered Psychologist (Provisional) with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. Being Provisionally registered, means that Jen has completed the required graduate-level education and is now in the final licensing stage, practicing under the required supervision of a fully registered psychologist.
She provides psychological services grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches. Her work is informed by a collaborative, goal-oriented framework that emphasizes practical strategies while remaining responsive to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and lived experience.
Jen works with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of presenting concerns. Her training and clinical experience support the provision of counselling for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties with emotional regulation, interpersonal conflict, grief, and behavioural challenges. She approaches therapy with an emphasis on building insight, developing effective coping skills, and fostering meaningful and sustainable change.
In her assessment practice, Jen uses a variety of standardized and informal tools to explore both behavioural and learning challenges. Psychological assessments can be helpful in developing a clearer understanding of an individual’s strengths and areas of difficulty, whether for personal insight or to better support an individual’s learning and development. Assessment findings are used to guide practical, strength-based recommendations that support skill development and informed decision-making.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, Jen spent two decades working in the field of education as a classroom teacher, learning resource teacher, and consultant in intensive supports. This experience allowed her to develop and refine strong skills in applying evidence-based practices and supporting others—students, families, and professionals—in implementing effective strategies across various contexts.
She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental and learning differences and has experience working with clients with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Learning Disorders. Jen strives to provide a supportive, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and empowered to navigate challenges, build resilience, and work toward their personal goals.
